Just a quick heads up about a couple up-coming shows happening this weekend. First one being this Saturday the 18th the 5th Annual AMDEF event at Neumos with our classmates The Staxx Brothers. This is the last day to get discounted tickets for the event. Pre-sale tickets are $15 regular but if you use our promo code  “C Leb and the Kettle Black” (case sensitive just like its spelled) they are only $12 so get on it otherwise day-of at the door is $30. AMDEF (Art, Music, Design, Entertainment, Fashion) is a one-of-a-kind event that collaborates all local artists from every facet together on one stage for one night. We did a full dress rehearsal on Tuesday and afterward we were pumped to be involved with this event. Click on the link to find out the full details of the event this Saturday.

The other event  is the obvious  Hempfest 2012. Were playing the Hemposium stage with our longtime good friends from Portland Lowenbad. They are on at 4pm and were on at 5pm right after them. This year is an especially big year for Seattle Hempfest because of the Washington’s Initiative 502 on the ballot this November. There is a heated debate on both sides of the aisle between advocates and currently ran dispensaries and clinics. You can read more about it here and form your own opinion, but basically this year is historic for Hempfest, Seattle and Washington state.

We have some great things in the works coming in the future months including a better Merch section on the website, Oktoberfest 2012, a Halloween gig at the 2 Bit Saloon, a new video in the works, were going back in the studio to start recording our second album yet to be named and much more. Thank you Sarah Schmidt and Summer Meltdown 2012 for an amazing time, anyone who isn’t a fan of Meltdown just hasn’t been yet. Big shout out to Ryan Muller for somehow coordinating 200 artists and models for this years AMDEF,  Muckleshoot Casino for the opportunity to get our foot in the door and everyone who has come out to support us for what has really turned out to be an epic summer for C-Leb & the Kettle Black. If the Mayan calendar counts down and the world ends, well it don’t have sh*t on us. Hit us up any time at shows or online we love hearing from you, peace out and much love. CKB
